I have been serving as a technician on my county’s Special Rescue Team for a few years now. We are called when there are skills needed to extricate a patient that falls beyond your typical Fire/EMS response. I live near numerous mountains, rivers, and trails that provide recreation to millions of people each year, including myself. I am fortunate to be able to use my training to help others who enjoy doing the same outdoor activities I do.
